This build can be adapted slightly for multi target raid encounters by removing one of the top utility points in favour of Mind Sear, as well as swapping from Dark Ascension to Voidform. The damage talents for this are set in stone, as there are important talents all over the tree that need to be reached as efficiently as possible. Because of Screams of the Void this build uses Mind Flay as its primary filler spell and only uses Mind Spike to spend procs of Surge of Darkness.
